Hi! My name is Valentin (but you can call me Val) and I’m a Client Care Coordinator at The Morpheus Clinic for Hypnosis. It’s my job to schedule sessions, conduct consultations and intakes, and address any doubts you might have about our practice. My favourite part of the job is talking to clients about their goals and watching them leave each session closer to meeting them. I care deeply about ensuring that each client feels heard and genuinely supported in their issues.
Though I am originally from France and grew up in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, I graduated from the University of Toronto with a double honours Bachelor of Arts in philosophy and art history in 2024, and I’ve been here since! My primary research interests involve contemporary decolonial historiography, French poststructuralism, and modern liberation art (1968 onward). Outside the office, you can find me planning for my reading group, working on a new mixed-media piece, or cooking for my friends.
