We’re officially in business at our spacious new facility near SickKids Hospital, and every weeknight until at least October 7, we will be hosting a group hypnosis session at 6:30 p.m.:
Mondays: Insomnia
Tuesdays: Weight loss
Wednesdays: Smoking cessation (and other toxic habits)
Thursdays: Stress and anxiety
Fridays: Chronic pain and illness
Every participant gets their own armchair and every visit will be unique, since we will be taking requests from participants and performing each session unscripted (but in a structured manner). If you’ve never been hypnotized before, it’s an easy way to get your feet wet. If you’ve been a client of ours, it will be a good way to stay grounded and positive in the face of modern life’s many stresses.
Admittance is $50 plus HST. As a way to give back to our community, we are admitting health care workers (not just doctors and nurses, but RMTs, therapists, etc.) for free until further notice. Just show a hospital badge, business card or other form of identification at the door. [Note: As of January 1, 2023, this offer is no longer valid.]
Since we’re just getting this projected started, it will frequently happen during the first few weeks that you will have one-on-one time (or nearly one-on-one time) with me. However, my hope is to see enough attendance that we can make these weeknight group hypnosis sessions a permanent event, and ultimately, my vision for this facility is that it becomes a “third place” between work and home where you can relax with like-minded people.
